Jacob stallingsI second this, but Posada is probably my substitute for Stallings, love his swing. Probably a bit of a homer pick, but I prefer JT over Salvy, his swing works better for me and better defense.

There aren't any truly great catchers in this game. I hit best with Diamond Yasmani Grandal; the best fielder/arm is Pudge or Molina. Generally, I use Pudge, though.

I was shocked at how quickly I prestiged both Perez and Realmuto. I hit very well with both and the defense is solid. I've been using Foxx behind the plate in the event, but even in a 3 inning game I make sure I have Pudge on the bench. Foxx is slow out of the crouch which has resulted in some super weak infield hits, and he can't keep up with fast runners on base unless the RNG is really on your side. I usually give him one at-bat, and then he's either out of the game, or I move him to first and take Ortiz out.
Based on this thread, I think I may throw Stallings and Kendall in the mix too. I crushed the ball with Kendall last year but haven't used him yet in 20.

I felt like in 20 there wasn’t one great choice for catcher. I’m missing the 99 Joe Mauer card from some years back.

Stallings is too good my man
Nothing against Stallings, but Posada has always been good for me. even his 86 or 85 was a stud early in the year

That's a false statement
There are a lot of great catchers with both good hitting and fielding or great hitting and decent defense
