What’s the deal here? 20 was my first year playing dd, so why does everyone hate it? Is it glitched towards home runs?

Its not Date Palm Field so thats reason #1. Date Palm Field best field.
Honestly its high elevation and short walls allow some stupid HRs. Its a hitters stadium all the way and is preferred my several "top" players. In summary, its the Coors field of MLB The Show. No fans + minor league venue also reduces lag.

And on top of that, stop glorifying these kids who play this on youtube in moms basement. Most of these dudes played jv level h.s baseball at best.

False. You're trying very hard to make yourself look ridiculous. How about you just leave everybody be and whenever the games loads up Shippett, you pause the game and hit that quit option. Then you don't have to play at Shippett and you also can save yourself the embarrassment by getting spanked by someone you so deeply look down upon. Problem solved, everybody happy.

I understand why people play there, When you play a video game you want to get rewarded.. Shippet does that. Yes do I know going into the game am I going to give up some cheap runs on some early pitches.. Yes... But I also know that I'll score some runs and feels good. Its not the stadium I usually pick (except this prestige event), but I'd rather play there than Minute Maid, Polo Grounds, Forbes and other stadiums. Sometimes it's enjoyable to hit some dingers... Especially when you don't always get rewarded for perfect prefects and good squared up balls. Personally I like Blue River Date Palm and All American, but hey next year we could all be the mercy of our opponents crazy stadiums anyway.
