Would you Like or Oppose this Idea?

I was trying to find a place where this was discussed only place i could find was maybe wishlist but i am still up in the Air about it. So decided to turn to community for thoughts.
Would you like to see golds be able to be exchanged for Diamonds? (at a higher rate than silvers and bronze of course)
yes or no and explain if ya want

Would doing that not really throw the market out of whack? You could potentially trade 10 golds for a diamond let's say and get lucky and have trout. I dont know the answer Obviously but I think diamonds, even lower ones should be harder to get

I agree I actually think they are way too obtainable. Like the reward path for example — I’d like to see that change to a 1/5 option and no chance to obtain the others unless you get them on the market. Make them sellable. I love content. But the super 99 god squad players should be near impossible to obtain.
I liked seeing gold end game or low level Diamond end game. It made for variety.

I dunno was wondering same thing. I was thinking it might make golds and below more valueble possibly driving prices for all cards upward? Like i said i am unsure.

They had a Gold-to-Diamond exchange once. In Show17.
You had to exchange 75 golds to get a diamond.

They had this in '17 (I think that was the year?). It was 75 Golds for an unsellable Diamond

If you have to exchange that many to get 1 diamond, then I guess I can see it being a good thing. That's a lot of stubs into 1 player so I can't see it used a lot

I’d rather exchange golds for Headliners or other promo packs. However Team affinity basically does this now with a bit extra on top, hopefully it stays pretty much the same.

Yeah but that was a different type of exchange i'm talking about setup way it is now?
Trade in like 30,000 or 35,000 gold points or gold value to get diamond pack. So people might have chance to get top tier diamond for a team collection type deal.
Possibly making common to bronze all the way up exchange more valuble.
So you would have to ask yourself do i want to sell these golds and get 10k or try my luck and pull a top teir card and save 170+K or get a lower tier diamond u already have with 5k face value?

With the amount of free stubs/packs they've been doling out the past 2 years, they only way you CAN'T complete the Live Series collection is if you're specifically not trying.
Adding an exchange will only increase the "I exchanged all my golds and all I got is a lousy Byron Buxton" posts. And we see enough of those already.

This year was first year in 12 years i completed collection and that didn't happen til December.
I dont believe in paying anybody more than a 100k for a card. I despise the market i am one who thinks a card price should have a cap.
Yes i will admit alot more stubs were aquired this year but alot of people relied on flipping as well.
Some cards were flatout unreachable in price but were needed to get MVP Trout for instance.
Obviously this post is more my problem and perhaps need to look more into stub making ideas but flipping just seems like a crapshoot and i love craps but suck @ rolling dice. First year pulling Trout live series btw
