Two things. One, @Cpm032987_PSN they're extremely difficult to come by without paying scalp price. Only recently have I seen more and more people obtaining them.
@squishiesgirl the performance boost alone for Ps4 titles is worth it right now. Super quick load times, plus there is Demons Souls.

When I wear my tinfoil headphones, I get perfect results from meter pitching and every hit is a HR. That's because I have a PS5.
If I was stuck using a PS4, I'd stick to playing the CPU on rookie.
Y'all complain about stuff way too much. In particular, the stuff you have ZERO control over. Makes for a miserable playing experience if you think about it.

I think there is a lot to this game people don't understand... Myself included.... I don't get how inputs work online, and how timing window varies from game to game... Some games I rock pitchers with outlier and some games it tells me I'm late no matter what ( and i play on a monitor with high speed internet)... How some guys you make perfect perfect outs and line out like crazy and some guys you get rewarded and put up a bunch of runs... It doesn't seem like your doing anything different, but your results are....

Only difference so far i would notice would be graphics. SDS wouldn't give next gen the advantage. It's all about getting paired with someone of your skill level (i.e rookie with rookie or veteran with veteran). If someone from SDS would like to reply to this they'll say the same thing. I've NEVER been paired with a legend skill level on veteran. I always get paired with veteran players.
I know XP level isn’t the biggest indicator. But I’m constantly getting paired up with guys who would be like 50 diamond when I’m 75 silver (back in may when those were common levels lol) and they would have a insanely all 95 + team and it seemed unmatched to me. But idk maybe that just happens to me lol
It matches you by your ranked league not your player level. there is some search measures that go into your team and how stacked it is...but it doesn’t take precedence over the search.
You can hold left stick left to slow down the difference in rating during the search.
That too. But you can’t go way outside your league. If you hold left it usually matches you very close below or before you.

The advantage is only slight. Literally no framerate issues and a slightly smoother experience is all you get right now.

So if you can get one for retail go for it. I wouldnt pay scalpers prices. Im playing cyberpunk right now virtually problem free and much better experience than on the ps4... also noticeable difference old ps4 to ps5 in the show and other games... if you have a pro then not so big a deal...

I don’t know about that Man. Trying to play a game made for 60 frames on hardware that maxes out at about 30 frames can be a total nightmare. Unless they severely downgrade the PS4 version of the game...if I were a PS4 user right now I’d rather a downgrade in order to maximize performance.
