The only playable things right now in terms of actually "playing baseball" are the initial opening games against the Dodgers, and the practice mode. Anytime you try to play either the CPU, a friend, or a random game in Diamond Dynasty, it crashes the game, and sends you back to the xbox home screen. Very frustrating so far.
I've been playing cpu in DD all day since noon. Not sure if I just got lucky or not. Online didn't work though.

Just wanted to update I did get the patch but I still can’t play anything. If I start a game in any mode I get kicked back to the home screen

Hmm I get that message as well and I have no update available...anywhere. I had played 1 game against the CPU

I had issues for the first few hours (completely understandable ones ) and this might be off topic , but are POTM Tatis and Ramerz in packs or how do we get them ?

I can’t seem to access the game after the update. I quit and tried again same result. DNS issue maybe?

I'm not sure about that. I've been there a few times already and I just went into apps and games to see if an update was just sitting there and it was. A 6.69 gig update installing right now.

Same issues as previous posters- I was able to start battle royale and got to the last few picks and when I pressed to view the player card to see if any had quirks it lagged and gave me an error message

I’m getting a error message that says “an unhandled server exception occurred. On Xbox series X.

I've seen that error a bunch of times too. Randomly in between games in DD that have worked. Things seem very hit and miss from user to user and from moment to moment.

got a few games in DD online BR. but seems you can't get 2 in a row played as the server crashes.

Can’t play the game at all. Keeps saying can’t connect

Also noticed when I do play ppl from xb it will work sometimes, but when it's ps players, it always crashes. could be a random thing too.

Yeah all I've been able to do is play offline games and my level is stuck. I gain xp but level isn't going up. Everytime I try DD it's saying it needs an update.

So here’s my likely “not so unique situation.” I am able to finally connect to the servers, but whenever I attempt to play a Diamond Dynasty game, be it against another opponent or the CPU, it gets to the Lineup comparison screen, goes black and goes back to the dashboard. Each and every time.
The most recent time was the first time it actually said “opponent found” but it still crashed at the same spot and kicked me back to the dashboard. No alert as to what happened or anything.

Can’t connect to servers at all anyone else having an issue?

Yeah - I was about to enter an online game, but it's now saying there is a network error.
Same for me I can’t play diamond dynasty

i played all of that plus BR, remember this just a test, hopefully sds will fix it by 4/20, also i suck at this game
