With the Tech Test just announced we are seeing users from the Xbox community joining the forums for the first time ever!
A big welcome to everyone new - we are most excited to have you here.So with that, I feel obligated to post annual reminder:

We understand the passion many of you share in The Show, and everyone is more than welcome to express their opinions, ideas, and perspectives here. But keep in mind - attacking others for any reason will not be tolerated and those who do so will be removed. If you cannot disagree with someone respectfully, then please do not respond.
The Code of Conduct that we all agreed to can be found here. Print it out and hang it on your wall, like I did, so you may always be reminded of its' greatness.

Thank you.Forgive me if this has been addressed as I’m sure it has I tried searching and couldn’t find....if I applied for tech test for ps5 console where would I look to see if selected? I know with the Beta tests in previous years there would be message in notifications on PS4.....
You'll see the notification on your PS5, similar to previous years.

Any word on when they will let us know if we were selected? Need to block off time at work if I'm one of the lucky ones.

Game seems decent did notice the distance between pitcher and batters box could be pushed back so that the camera view of the strike zone is being blocked by the pitchers hat on the bottom of zone. Batting is a little harder than last year but that is expected although i noticed no matter my timing or my swing type the ball almost always went to the outfielder. The pitching is all that hard to do so no complaints there. Over all a enjoyable experience thanks for letting me participate.

I couldn't get anywhere. Code problems on PS4. Now just says I have tried too many times.

Im noticing everytime I start a BR match I connect but once I choose my pitcher my game crashes. This is on a PS4 Pro 2017 edition, CE-34878-0 is the error code. I've tried three times and all the same error code.

I have tried vs CPU and BR games crashes at lineup screen. I'm on PS5

Same for me. I have tried to play BR and Event games and it crashes and closes the game when I get to the lineup screen. I'm on a PS4 Pro

Whenever I try to do anything on the tech test the games keeps crashing

Graphically, please fix the static clouds when batting. I don't usually nitpick but with the crisp graphics on the PS5. The clouds not moving when batting does take from the immersion. I would try to fix that since it really stands out a clear sunny day.

While playing the tech test on Xbox (I know, I'm logged in with my PS account) the game crashes often just after I've selected my team and the opponent found. Sometimes we make it to the camera of the pitcher and team taking the field, then the game crashes and sends me all the way out. Not to the main screen I have to completely reload. This happened numerous times last night. Sometimes it loads all the way until it's time for first pitch and just freezes. I know the "kinks" will be corrected soon...Thanks for creating a version for Xbox, obviously I've been playing on PS for years. Excited to play it on Xbox this time!!!!

have a problem with the show 21 1st when i went into a BR game my name was all over the screen ,couldnt see or tell wher ball was ,then i got this blue screen with this on it CE-34878-0 which i believe is a corrupt file so i deleted the game to reinstall well i couldnt , can you help me out email bobbarb@comcast.net ty

I’m noticing the opponent I just played for hitting this is he hit a homer with with his pci not on the ball I hope that gets fixed

Yeap and you will understand the pain of how bad the game actually is first hand. Yeah it’s years ahead of rbi baseball, but it is truly a nightmare to play

I haven't really felt that way yet. Fielding is a little clunky at times but it's good. If I hated the game as much as you do I probably wouldn't spend the time in the games forum.

I still think these are mainly the result of connection issues. I imagine in the studio these things never happen but in the real world with not so good internet (NY, Florida, cough) it happens all the time. Maybe their matchmaking has improved with the addition of Xbox players and players in the midwest, like myself, won't get constantly matched up against people on the east coast.
I have fiber, a new router, qos, port forwarding, the whole 9 yards and while playing a little better lately I still find issues playing people with NY, Chicago, Florida, etc in their name. Not sure how the game thinks this is a good or fair match-up for me. I can tell immediately when a bad game is coming as my pitches either go for a ball or right over the middle of the plate. Pitch speed seems faster and pitch recognition is basically non-existent. This is really the only thing holding me up right now from ordering 21. I think connection issues are the biggest problem in this game. My dilemma is PUBG is infested with Chronus Zen users, seems to be dying and there are no other good games to play. I would have bought PGA but I am a 3 click method person and without that, that was a no purchase for me. I will probably still by 21 regardless even though I shouldn't. A ping indicator on the lineup screen should be a necessity at this point for this game that relies on connections. The gaming industry is just super dry.

I bought a PS a few years ago just to play this game, but I'm mainly a xbox user. So I was completly thrilled to see it come to xbox. AND a big, 'WOW' that is is going to be on Game Pass. Amazing, Everyone was wondering how this happened. It seems Operation Sports got an inside story saying the big push to make this happen was MLB. They just want this game played everywhere and by everyone. Yea!
