Reliever Energy

Trying to figure out what the heck is happening in the event. I bring in a reliever who I have warmed up for an inning that has yet to pitch this event and sometimes his energy and confidence are in the yellow already and sometimes 3-4 full in the green.
I can’t seem to figure out what causes each and I can’t seem to tell before I put them in the game. Any ideas?

I realize that, I have played events all year. What I am trying to find out is why a totally fresh reliever who I have warmed up sometimes enters with 1/3 yellow energy and confidence and other times 3/4 meter green energy and confidence. What is the determining factor.
BTW, are you a Furman grad?

I didn't go to college I was in Iraq and Afghanistan. Paladin was our platoon callsign in OIF, I was the 2nd squad leader hence Paladin 2
