Can my Diamond Dynasty team/inventory move from PS4 to PS5?

Based on what Collin wrote, what if I bought Panda for 150k? I could use him on Xbox and PS5, but couldn't sell him except on my PS5?
Very strange programming there.

Once the stubs are actually purchased from either PSN or Xbox and linked to your SDS account (or whatever they end up doing to unify everything) you would hope that the currency would just be in your account and free to use anywhere . That would be common sense. I'm sure there is a reason why they are NOT doing it that way, but that doesn't change the fact that I think it is stupid. Is this how it works for other cross platform games which have microtransactions?
All this does is raise more questions.
- Does this also mean that the Playstation and Xbox card marketplaces will also be separate? I assumed they would be the same.
- Are they actually going to have two separate currencies in game to distinguish between earned and purchased stubs?
- Would stubs that are purchased, used, and reclaimed through a sale on the market then be free to use anywhere (the money laundering mentioned above) or will you permanently have some subset of your stub total locked into a single platform?
It's kind of funny that the easiest solution to this problem is to just NOT give SDS more money by buying stubs, especially if you think you will ever play on a second platform.

1- Yes. They are separate. Microsoft and Sony both take a cut of RL money buying stubs.
2- Seems like it, but it doesn't make any sense. Items can be tagged for drop/no drop in other games but once currency hits, it's universal on that platform pool.
3- I can say that the only way to accomplish that from a programming perspective is to tag each stub with an origin indicator of PS, Xbox or game play. Market transactions would end up being game play. We're creating an interesting situation if this is the case. Buy stubs, buy card, sell card sell stubs. Yeah, 10% loss but that margin goes away once you determine the dominant stub value between the two platforms.

How is the Market place going to work with or without cross platform and with in PS4 and PS5? I assume PS4 and PS5 will be the same but not the same with XBOX
-
PS4 and 5 are the same.
They say, more details to follow.

For #1 it may not have been totally clear, but I wasn't talking about the store for purchasing in game content with real money. I know both Sony and Microsoft would each get a cut if you use their platform to purchase, which is why they would prefer you buy stubs from their own storefront. I meant if I put up a card for sale on the community market using my PS5, could someone with an Xbox purchase that exact card or would each community market be separate.

I would expect that either console would be able to purchase the card. If they can't, then the question is answered for all of our questions.
DD would be able to compete against each other, but with two separate card markets, and as such, two different stub pools.
I don't have the answer, but somebody does. We just need to wait for it.

You have to link your accounts but I think it will.
I would wait for more confirmation though because there were a lot of big issues with linking accounts early on.
