Timing vs Placement

So I’ve been looking at post game analysis lately. I’m seeing a lot of hits on placement of 10, 11, 12, and even 6’s, 8’s and 9’s.
Aside from occasional P’s, many are just early, or even very early. It’s looks about 33% good timing.
What are your guys thoughts on timing mattering more to outcome than placement?

I wish it were also not my opponent’s friend. I give up quite a few bloops on late or very late swings.

I would argue placement matters a bit more than timing. Just because some bad numbers fall does not = that timing is getting rewarded more.
Baseball is random, and sometimes it will fall even on bad swings. I really don't see them all too often.
It "may" seem like a lot, but I bet if you actually tracked every single 8 you saw, out or hit, it would be a terrible batting average. It just stands out when you see a hit because it's a low number.

You’re probably right. I’ve just been noticing over a course of about 4-5 games that there are few, if any, hits on 14’s and 15’s. There are a couple P, then the rest are 10/11/12.
I know it’s a small sample size. Maybe this year 14 and 15=P?

A p is automatically a 15 I think (Though there can be non-perfects that are 15 to). Idk about 14
