Look, I know people say Walter sucks, and i could understand that. But im so close to prestiging this dude, and he is a frickin beast. What do u guys think about him?

I think he's extremely underrated. For me he's kind of a right handed Chris Sale. He either dominates or you get embarrassed by mercy rule. There is no average game for those two

True. i could agree

He is great for me, W Johnson, Kershaw and Maddux are my best pitchers I have all prestige.

I prestiged him super quick compared to other pitchers. Mainly in AS level RS.
He has a pro - outlier fastball - that can also be his biggest con - outlier fastball. If your opponent can't catch up to 102, just throw gas to a 9 inning complete game with 20 strikeouts. GG. but if your opponent can hit 102 fastball, you're more dependent on your offspeed, which can hang and be hit a mile on top of the fact that the fastball will be hit for moonshots. Lose-lose in that situation.Once prestiged, I think he gets outlier II - his sinker gets a speed boost. A Ssinker and 4-seamer both with outlier is generally regarded as a negative by many players since it makes his outlier II sinker closer in speed to his outlier I 4-seam fastball. Less speed differential and the sinker flattens out and doesn't move as much.
With all that said and done, he's not the worst pitcher out there, but there are better options with fewer negatives against them.

He’s great against guys that can’t hit a fastball

He is a lot of fun and can be very tough to hit if you mix and locate well. I try not to shy away from using pitchers based on what I hear on the internet streets. Yes good hitters light Him and Nolan, another pitcher I like to use who can be unhittable even against solid players if the user is hitting spots and again mixing speeds along with location. This is my second year to play and in my experience really good hitters light everyone up but the extreme heat that guys like Walt and Nolan bring force the hitter to account for it so with the right person who uses that advantage correctly they are nasty to for the rest of the hitting community

I like him. Only 3 innings pitched away from prestige, so I've used him a lot - in mostly all-star.

I use him as start 5 for long relief and I find him to have the most success there. Usually after 3 innings guys get used to his fastball and delivery. He also seems to lose control after 3 innings.

Prestige Walter is awesome. I think I’m 4-0 with him since he was prestiged.
