I know it's all in my head, but tell me I'm at least not the only one.

Getting the last couple stats to prestige a player always seems extra difficult to me. It's realistically not any harder, but I know I try extra hard and almost force it which is my own demise in these situations. Anyone else who just can't play normally and get those last few stats without going 0 for?
Anyways, 2 more hits for Soto, 6 RBI's for Jr, and I just finally got the last run scored for Trout. This has been a useful event for me, even though I've let a lot of these prestige stats slide for so long.

I think it just seems tougher because you're mentally counting down with every single stat you attain, making it seem like it takes forever
-
For me it's always runs or RBIs, which makes sense. Runs are infuriating because not only do you have to get on base, but then another batter needs to get the runner in (unless it's a bomb). RBIs is frustrating because they're dependent on having runners in scoring, or they come dribbling in one at a time from solo bombs.
Almost done with Griffey and Brett, though - single digit RBIs for both. Inching closer on Trout, but he'd take a little more effort in the event than I'm willing to invest than the other two in this event.

The last 6 runs I needed to prestige trout took me hours of playing the event. It’s like when I looked at the stats I couldn’t hit with him anymore

What I do, which is probably frowned upon. I usually just tank ranked seasons so I play low level/newer players and bat the players I need in the top couple of spots. I then quit after the first inning and repeat until the stats I need are achieved. At least Griffey and Trout are in the event and you can just do that method. I know it’s lame, but I’m too lazy to play full games.

I'm not trying to say this in a douchey way but you're telling me you care more about prestiging players than actually winning ranked season games?

People put waaaaay to much emphasis in online record. Whether or not we agree, we all accept the fact that people in events will do this. Why should anyone care any differently if someone does it in RS? Because it tracks your record?

I mean to me ranked seasons is the main objective of Diamond Dynasty. The point is to stack your team up so you can compete in ranked seasons so to me (unless you're an online only player) I just don't see why anyone would throw away ranked games on purpose or worry more about prestiging than the actual game. To me the point of prestiging a player is so you can have the better version of him in your ranked seasons squad.

To YOU. To others they may enjoy prestigious more than winning. To each their own.

That's fine. I wasn't talking trash to anyone. I was just wondering. So for people who are more worried about prestiging than ranked seasons, what was their main objective for playing diamond dynasty last year?
