have you guys ever been part of a baseball team, as a kid or as an adult? like a travel baseball team, a pickup game or some other kind? just curious...

Yup! Played up until high school. (Where I am now)
The kids bullied me so much because I wasn't "cool" that I would come back crying because it was so bad. I ended up quitting, and haven't had to talk to them since due to remote learning!

In real life, I am the most bullied kid in school. I was one more incident away from leaving the school. All of the kids are more athletic than me, and stronger than me. (I'm a 125 lb 15 year old, lol) I am one of, if not the smartest kid in my class. I am sure that the kids hate that I care about school.

This was in middle school. I am in 9th grade. Therefore, I haven't had any problems this year because I am remote.
Actually, take that back. I was made fun of for staying home DURING A PANDEMIC.

Yup, pretty much. For a few years, it DEMOLISHED my mental state. But then I started ignoring them. That is right when I found here, which was a BIG help.

My first 2 years were fine but my 3rd year playing my own teammates bullied me off the team, luckily i still play softball which is better then nothing.
If it means anything i think your cool. Best to just ignore anyone trying to say otherwise.

I was never a popular or cool kid, I never really fit in, and back then that was all I wanted, to be “normal”. But by a vast majority, in the subsequent years the weird kids went on have the most interesting lives, and most of them wound up far away from home pursuing their dreams. The ‘cool’ kids back then mostly wound up with local factory or office jobs and only talk about how great things used to be.
If you can already figure out what you love to do in life, then throw yourself into it and you’ll do well. Twenty years from now, you’re going to be considered one of the cool kids from your class... trust me.

Yes - played in house and travel all stars up until high school. There was no AAU or big travel circuits like there is now.
