COD, DDA, Comeback logic...Whatever you want to call it is real & in all sports games. The companies won’t come out & advertise it but it’s there in the fine print. Business wise it makes total sense. If people lose three in a row & then win 3 in a row they’ll keep playing & spending...The goal is to keep players around .500...If they lose 20 in a row they’ll lose interest & move on to other games.
So if this is true how do explain pitching rebel having a 650-50 record. Or some of the other top guys. Even my record is good at 73-19. Its not on par with the top guys but it’s hardly a .500 record. This just doesn’t make sense if you ask me.
You don’t understand. It’s because Rebel sucks so bad, DDA is always on his side. It’s well known he’s one of the worst players year in, year out
That is one of the most absurd statements I’ve ever seen on these posts. Absolute troll post. You have zero credibility after making a comment like that. Your stats don’t even compare to his and based on this statement I’m thinking he has probably taken you to town on more than one occasion.

Its the same concept as rubber banding in racing games. Its annoying af.
Yeah..But it won’t stop any of us from playing. People like to get worked up about it but nobody will actually stop playing.
I haven't purchased an EA product since. I'm aware I'm in a tiny minority but there are at least a few of us
DDA is the least of your worries with Madden lol. That game is an absolute dumpster fire right now. SO MUCH is broken on that game right now. It’s sad how bad that franchise has gotten.
Someone on here a few weeks ago was trying to claim The Show was worse than Madden.
The Show has it’s issues but it’s nowhere near as bad as Madden is now. I’ve played The Show since 15 & I’ve played Madden since 1995. This was the first year that I actually quit playing Madden - It’s absolutely unplayable.
Truth! First time in years I didn’t get madden and honestly didn’t miss it

The reason guys like Rebel etc. can overcome DDA is because they’re just that good. DDA isn’t impossible to beat it just tightens up a bit for the winning team and may loosen some for the losing team. It puts you in certain situations at times that many of us may not have the skill to work out of.
I’m fine with a touch of DDA it keeps the game of baseball random as it should be. My issue with it in this game is hitting is everything and pitching is poor. Top players era are through the roof but they’re beasts at hitting. Okay I’m up by two in the eighth and DDA has me commit an error a little leaguer would have made to get a guy on first, that’s fine. Just allow me a fair chance to pitch out of the situation. I feel during these moments the game is tilted so far to the hitter it is unfair.
You shouldn’t be fouling off pitches that the batter swings so early it’s the lunging animation with two strikes. I fooled you! I did my job on my end to get this out yet the batter is bailed out constantly. You almost hate to have a one or two run lead late in the game.

Preach Brotha Preach. I won a RS game 1-0 the other day and think I fractured my butthole clenching it so hard. I just new i was going to get screwed. I actually was able to pitch out of a bases loaded jam and sealed the win

Ea has the DDA. I feel like the Show is much more rng. Which means even if you have a perfect perfect or good pitcher input it won't always result in a positive outcome. This more or less punishes the better players or player with better teams so in a way it is DDA.
DDA and RNG are polar opposites by definition.
RNG implies complete randomness which means deliberate punishment of the better player is not possible. Each player has an equal chance of a favourable outcome.
DDA implies that the difficulty of the gameplay changes based on the situation in the game. Thus potentially gameplay is biased against the player who is ahead.
True, DDa specifically is meant to benefit lesser players but RNG can indirectly and unintentional do the same. If you don't get a favorable RNG, which I'm sure you had games where your opponent gets all the breaks and you get none, effectly works the same way for the end result. If there was no RNG the better player would always win. Players would be rewarded for perfect input on pitching and perfect pci. Sorry if I made it sound like they are the same, clearly they are not. I'm just saying they can both effect the lesser player coming out victorious.

I agree with this! It’s bad enough that pitches with good input don’t necessarily hit their spots, or sometimes flat out miss down the middle or worse, hit the black but are called balls.
Adding the check swing fiasco and incessant fouling off of pitches to the mix just makes it super tilted towards the hitter.
