Target is planning a PS5 sale

Hey guys for those of you still in the hunt I came across some info today that shows hope for some of you still wanting to get a PS5.

On the MyStore app I noticed my local Target claimed to have 15 in stock, also many Targets in the Minneapolis area was showing 20+ in stock. I thought this was a mistake as their website shows out of stock. I checked back 5 minutes later and now the app said 13 in stock. Something is going on so I left work and rushed to Target.

I get there in about 15 minutes and go to electronics and see none. I walk up to the electronics counter and ask the guy. He said yes we have them but can’t sell them right now. He also said I was about 5 minutes too late as there was a mixup and accidentally sold 8 before the manager said to stop sales. Apparently there is going to be an event that these will be sold. They would not tell me the event date because it is going to be online and they want to avoid bots. Another thing you will have to pick it up in person no shipping.

During this 5 minute conversation about 8 people showed up also looking for the PS5. He says he gets a call about every 5 minutes. Also noticed no stock is moving at any other stores right now. So keep a close eye on Target for this “event” that they have stocked up for.
