Most Unhittable Pitch?

Orel’s sinker
I sure as [censored] can’t hit it, but no one else has a problem against me.
-
Everything Chapman throws. Good lord do I still hate seeing him come out of the pen. I don't have a hard time with 102 from DeGrom or Crochet, but something above Chapman's delivery just obliterates my ability to hit. I'm so over-hyped for his fastball I flail at pretty much everything else.

That Darvish back door cutter to lefties kills me by the time i realize what that pitch is it's too late to swing.
-
Just a simple fastball inside to a same handed batter. Unless you’ve been spamming it, or they’re one of those trashy early swingers who looks like they’re out of their gourd on Ritalin, it’s going to blow straight by a lot of hitters. Combined with a decent slider, you can make people look stupid quite easily.

Mariano Rivera's sinker. It's a good one. The fact that no major league pitching coach or player could show him how to throw an effective one.
Does a little training with Sds...boom throws sinker. Imagine if Sds could have got to him while he was still playing.
This is awesome! Yeah SDS has some great coaching talent!
The check swing coach is phenomenal. Glad he was extended after a great season in '19. Can't wait to see what he does in '21

Sinkers are more juiced this year than they've ever been, and it makes for a lazy meta. They really slowed down cutters this year too.
94mph sinker = 100mph fastball timing
94mph cutter = 90mph fastball timingSinkers need a nerf imo
Agreed
