Is it always this bad when new content drops?

Trying to set up my squad for the Event and the lag is so bad that I can barely cycle thru the roster pages.

I'm afraid to even attempt to play any games until this Event is a few days old.

I had a bunch of lag scrolling through menus too. It was weird. Don't know why.
