Was excited to get on at midnight and start playing as I downloaded the game earlier this week but now facing an "Application Update" download that looks like it will take several hours. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah I'm dealing with a 2.7 GB update as well. It shouldn't be THAT bad unless you have very slow internet. At 3 mb/s it should only take 15 min or so.

Must be very slow cause its estimating 12 hours

Mine initially estimated 2 hours. But I did the math quick and saw it wouldn't be as bad. I'm at 1.8 of the 2.7 done and it says 15 more mintues. Will probably be closer to 6-8 minutes.
