Which are worth it?
-
Im sure its been talked about on here a bunch but I havent had time to play/scroll through the forum so sorry if its a repeat post:
Im assuming the obvious ones are Devin Williams and Soto, but anyone finding success with other stage 4 cards online? Specifically pitchers?
Also considering mookie for 2nd. Anyone doing that? Thanks in advance all!

Machado and Freeman are smashing for me right now. Tim Anderson has been a nice surprise. Both Salvy and JT are really good

I love babe. I started using Freeman in the event and three games three homers. He is essential a Ruth Type but splits vs lefty might be a problem. All of the pitchers have been pretty underwhelming so far. Lamet and Yates have been pretty good. Bauer and Degrom have been knocked around

Im only done stage 3 on like 4 teams, the reds are one of them. Probably just gonna grind out Bauer and sell and buy a Finest that fills.
I grabbed Lamet the day it all came out thinking he would be intriguing, your report is definitely encouraging there.

I’ve played with most of them by now and I’ve hit well with Soto, Perez, Betts, Realmuto, and Machado. Rojas has been surprisingly good for me too.
As for pitchers, I haven’t loved most of the starters. But Williams, Hendriks, and Nick Anderson have been good for me in the pen.

Nobody speaks about the collection Ketel Marte, but he's a stud switch hitting utility guy with a butter sweet swing. His defense won't hurt you, his contact is elite and his power against righties is still enough to his bombs. And like I said, you can play him pretty much everywhere.

Is the Devin Williams worth hang onto for $200k plus? I just unlocked him yesterday and used him once and he was okay. I know it’s on all star but have faced him a few times and thought he was easy to pickup and nothing too fancy. I already have Goose, Jansen, Chapman, and am liking the Finest Brad Hand. If I sell Williams that put me over a million and could put an order in for Wagner I was thinking.

I don’t need more stubs at this point so I held on to him. But if I did the 200k would be tempting. Only downside is if you sell him and put the money towards Wagner it could be Christmas before you get him. So you’ll be most of the rest of the game cycle without either guy.
-
Lol yeah after I posted that I checked and there is around 280 orders in for Wagner and around 3 sell a day. Might look at Feller or just hang onto him? I get a bit nervous with arms that will be abused in events as people start to get familiar with them.

The Nelly Cruz card is a lot of fun for me, I'm happy they gave him an arm in Right so he doesn't have to be just a bench bat, what he doesn't hit out he fouls off and wears down pitchers fast for me, lot of fun with Cruz imo

Cruz has always had an arm in RF, even his LS card. His fielding and reaction is still abysmal to play in your everyday lineup though

Story, Mookie, and Anderson are currently getting a tryout in the infield and I may platoon Mookie with Story or Mondesi at 2nd. As far as these Finest cards pay attention to the perks... Especially with the pitchers.

I may seem bias but Timmy has been amazing for me. Hits the ball all over the field and power is for real. I benched Seager and Tatis for him so thats saying something

ever so slightly lol. Timmy and Freeman have been very nice surprises. Obviously Soto and Machado rake but some other dudes might be fighting for a roster spot

I have literally seen nothing from machado offensively and he's even made a few glaring errors at 3rd.. I'll give him some more time but so far J-ram and tatis have been more solid at 3rd.
Mookie has been really really good at 2nd against righties. lots of bombs and even though his speed isn't the best his igh steal gets him some bags situationally.
