Seeing Youbuters batting with Soto I am positive they do work. Soto PCI size is huge. His pci is the biggest in the game because of his quirks combined with his batting attributes.

That’s why I very specifically worded my post to reflect that SS Ted Williams card was indeed designed to encapsulate the greatness of his entire career, being a Signature Series card. The best cards of Babe Ruth and Ken Griffey Jr are single season cards, presumably the best seasons SDS could come up with. Why can’t they go find a single game where Griffey went 5-5 with 3 homers, 2 SB and a diving catch, then make a card based solely off of that? Then we could have silly maxed out legends. Also, this was a 60 game season. Not that SDS, or even Juan Soto could help that, they have to rate him based on the 60 games that were played, but in my opinion, it devalues the comparison between that and anything other than another players best 60 games stretch. You can’t say Soto had a better season than X player if X player were consistently good for an additional 102 games.

They didnt have Silver Slugger or Gold Gloves back then. MVP was all they had. They didnt even have MVP awards until 1931 when the BBWA started giving it out. Prior to that there were other awards given out like for cars or medals or cash. Ruth only won the single "MVP" award, which wasnt really an official MVP.

Like can we talk about how Craked Finest Soto is lol . Dude has arguably the best pure hitting stats in game with a good swing to boot . Quirks he has active ,Road warrior, Night player , First pitch hitter , Unfazed , Breaking ball hitter , Rally monkey , Fighter , this is like the perfect card to use as a pinch hitter when losing in the 9th inning , Situational Hitter . So in Conclusion
His cracked . It’s too bad his defense is a liability I just can’t see myself starting him over the likes of players like Mantle ,Griffey , Trout , Larry Walker in the outfield because of it . Would you guys start him in Left even with his bad defense ? -
I bought Machado because my OF consists of MVP Trout, Mantle, and Harper (almost Griffey) did I make a mistake? Should I sell Machado for Soto?

People are just nostalgic about Beltran. The Awards Trout this year is better. No question. But... this Griffey Jr card may give him a run for the money. Only thing is it is so late in the year barely anyone is gonna get time in with him to enjoy it.
