Team Affinity Grinding Advice?

So as Stage 4 of the Team Affinity programs is released this afternoon, I haven't gotten close to reaching the new stage—Currently, I'm farthest along with the Tigers at 37% or so.
For the Finest cards, I'm going to really try and grind the TA programs. I need advice on how I should do this.

Which teams should I prioritize, based on their Finest cards?

How should I grind said TA programs (i.e. fill my lineup with that team's players)?

Exchanges WOULD have been the way to go, but the prices are insane now. (Which is why I am selling all of my duplicates)
I wpould do MTO. Takes long, but it free. -

I build up a team i want to do and then i do 9 inning games and work on innings and any missions needed (IE hit's/homeruns/ strikeouts for pitchers) that should get you at least 10 points right off the bat.
You can do this on any level of difficulty you want and any ballpark, i like trying every park at least once to shake it up abit including all the minor league (fake) parks

What if I were to load my team up with the best flashbacks I can afford from the team I want to grind? Would that work?
-
Put in buy orders for golds...as they come in, sell them. Buy silvers with your earnings...rinse, repeat. Making enough stubs to purchase one level of each TA program will take you 1/10th the time as showdown or MTO. It’s meticulous, but can also get addictive.

Showdowns are great, too.

I've done this for most of the teams for the stages. I fill out my team with all players of one team, grind out the 250 innings with that team, and move on to the next. Every 250 innings nets you 5 points, plus each team has a one-time stat grind for each stage that nets you 5 points as well. I only play offline, but I believe you get extra 2-3 points for every 150 innings for online play in addition to the 5 points for every 250 innings. If you put players in a secondary position, make sure you pay attention to the stat grinds - some of them specific which position must be the primary position of the player to accumulate the stats.
Also, if you haven't done them, there are moments for each of the stages. Beware that any stage-specific moments and stat grinds need to be done in said stage, but there are 90 (labelled Stages 1-3) moments that can be done anywhere as well. I also think the moments and conquests maps introduced for TA4 can be done before TA4.

At this point, I would just buy finest players you want. Unless you’re just wanting to do the offline grind, but that would take a while.
I did a few in the weeks leading up to yesterday and showdown was the easiest/quickest worth forward.

Also, Soto was my #1 (biased nats fan, but also he looks boss). I’m chasing Salvador Perez next and then machado; I’m intending to put together a finest team for the next season.

Is Finest Lindor > ️Tatis? I don’t want to lock Machado, Devon or Soto so I would need to do about 4 more TA4s just to get him. I have over 600k and trying to build for Mays.

Thanks man; been living in DC for 10 years and being close to stadium helped me get back into baseball altogether. Pretty wild year for us.
Also, I’m still contending that this was a lesser WS year and Nats are still champs!!

I don’t think the TB Lightning, Lakers, and Dodgers feel that way!
Any title in 2020 was legit.
I was ecstatic for the Nats win, although a Met fan.
Loved the Expos back in the day. -

To prepare for TA4 I did the Run it Back Showdown over and over and over and sold the cards - you get anywhere from 18k to 30k depending on the market. Then use those stubs to buy cards for exchanges. This was all before the market changed this weekend, but it will find a new normal.
The RIB showdown is one of the easier ones out there. No point doing the TA1-3 showdowns now. They are harder and get you only 20 TA points (24 for TA1). Whereas even 18k stubs should get you 30, 40 or even 50 TA points if you do exchanges smartly. -
