Darvish Finest Attributes Make No Sense

Compare to Gallen’s stats and attributes. Opponent average is nearly identical and Darvish has better K rate, yet Gallen has much higher attributes.

Edit: To be clear, I'm not here to complain about which 5 pitches Darvish was given. This is a subjective process. However, Darvish's H/9 and K/9 attributes make zero sense when compared to other Finest SP.

They gave him a sinker which he has never thrown. SDS needs to fix pitching so these pitchers can throw their pitches and not give them pitches that fit the meta. It’s bs

If you want Yuuuu to throw all of his REAL pitches, here they are, in no order:
- Four-seam fastball.
- curve
- Slow curve
- Power Curve
- changeup
- high-speed changeup
- forkball
- split-finger fastball
- ONE-SEAM fastball (Didn't know this was a thing)
- two-seam fastball
- vertical slider
- slider
- cut fastball
- Sinker
This shows that SDS did in fact get it right.

Its not BS. Darvish throws like 14-15 pitches actually. Giving him a sinker is not outrageous even if it isn’t used alot in his repertoire

Correct, he throws 14, as you can see the exact ones above. He is insane, he will eventually have 20. To catch him has to be a NIGHTMARE.

Yeah it definitely must be a nightmare. Pretty sure the Cubs signed his personal catcher from Texas when Darvish initially signed a few years back. This season Caratini caught all of his starts I believe. I live in Chicago and watched most of the games.

Caratini had a decent season too, wouldn't be surprised if they dump Willlllson at some point this offseason since the Cubs like to act like they are a small market team these last couple years.

Yeah and I think Javy and Kris are expiring after next season too. Lots of decisions to be made thats for sure.
