Contact or power?

If you prefer one over the other ... is it 60/40, 70/30?
And reasoning

Power is always the answer in MLB the Show. Gameplay is home run or bust most years, there have been editions where guys like Ozzie Smith, Kenny Lofton and so on were literally unable to hit the ball to the outfield. SDS don’t generally give any value to contact hitters, last years game being a notable exception, where they were a lot more viable than usual.

power and swing early

Power.... bc all that matters in this game is bombs online. Probably more like 85 percent power importance 15 contact . Only say that bc I’d take 85c 115p over 50 c 120 p

On my Excel sheet for evaluating players I use 45% Con 50% Pow and 5% vision to grade hitters. But you also have to factor in whether you have success with that players’ swing and their (potentially switch-) handedness.
Edit: reasoning - I feel that contact is much more important this year. You still need power to be viable but contact is not a throwaway stat since it increases inner PCI size. This is very noticeable on HOF/legend. I keep vision in there bc I have an inkling it makes P/P and good timing easier to obtain. Plus it helps with those 12 pitch ABs to get your opponent frustrated. Lol.
Edit 2: by these ratings, the top 5 hitters in the game are 1. new Soto 2. Arozarena 3. Williams 4. Ruth 5. Foxx. I weigh stats vs R by 60% since there are more right handed pitchers. I can share the sheet if there is interest.

this is some mad scientist stuff and I love it. Ruth and Ted are by far my best hitters. Arozarena through about 25 games is batting .380 for me. I havent tried Foxx and now I want to. And def getting Soto
