Looking for opinions on David Ortiz & Eddie Matthews

Looking to shake things up at the hot corners. Currently using Musial at 1B. I’m sure there are other cheaper options that I may have not tried. The best I’ve used at 1B all year has been Eddie Murray.

David is my end game first baseman. I wish his contact was a little bit higher but I started off slow with him after I prestiged him , it definitely was my fault due to my excitement to wanted to smash everything with him . But I love him though there better options at the first base position

Ortiz is a beast at the plate. Has been better for me than Ruth. He has a sweet swing. Musial is on par with Ortiz for me. I didn't expect Ortiz to be so good after using his first card, perhaps that is why I do so well with him.

Probably 1 of my favourite cards to use but noway would I splash 300k for him. I used him until I prestiged him and would still be my 1b if I wasn't using Grandal and Foxx at 3rd and Catcher.

Ortiz was easily my best 1B until Ruth showed up.

Both nice cards, Ortiz' card is pretty scary to pitch to in the late innings from a pitching perspective FWIW

Eddie Mathews has been my only 3rd baseman in any capacity...the 92 and the 99...I have 43 homeruns and 76 rbi with the 99

This is great to hear, i'm clossing in on 600k stubs and i'm looking to get both Ortiz and Rivera finally.
