I’m playing the game on a 24 inches monitor. I’m wondering if buying a new/bigger monitor would help me get better at the game ? I find playing on a small monitor to be annoying. It’s like I cannot see the ball that well and I’m forcing myself to be very close to the monitor. Like very very close.

Do you have a PS4 Pro or a regular PS4? If you have a regular PS4, like me, you lose the option of Game resolution apparently (in the Audio/Video section). The balls comes at you so fast there isn't enough time to react and you drop frames constantly causing you to swing and miss. That's only a theory, so I could be wrong. But it does make sense.

I have a PS4 Pro and I play the game at a resolution of 1440p. I have problem tracking the ball from the pitcher hand. I think screen size is causing the issue.

Try going to the options menu in the Audio/Video section and change game resolution to "fastest" which is 1080P (I think) and you might see a difference. This video explains alot including the "Click Click" method. This video is quite informative from a Top 5 guy.
