How much of a liability is Jimmy Foxx at catcher?
-
not an issue with Pass Balls but his arm is weak easy to steal off of.
-
ALWAYS carry a solid defensive (single-digit speed) catcher on the bench after the first two times through the order. Planning on getting Foxx this weekend.
-
Blocking stat doesn't really matter unfortunately. His arm is ok, better than Piazzas. If you start anyone with a sub 85 arm str you should have an elite arm on your bench in case you run into base running cheese or its a close game and someone gets a speedster on

Truthfully I've thrown out more runners with Foxx than I did with Torre and Posey. I think maybe because people figure it'll be easy so they don't bother to try and get jumps, or work it to go on off speed counts.

I got thrown out at 2nd by foxx when stealing with Wagner when the guy quick pitched lol, I’m not worried about his arm. It’s just the past balls that I’m worried about. I don’t throw worm burners but I will throw low out of the zone changups & curves that I don’t want being beaten out to 1st.
-
I haven't had an issue yet, but I do pitch more conservatively with runners on.
-
No issues, I don’t care if people steal, I’ll eventually catch them.
-
He can't block anything he lets a lot by and drops a lot of 3rd strikes. Very shaky, I notice it several times a game. I keep pudge on the bench for late innings.
-
i dont use him. Sold him quick. But i can tell you I love seeing him behind the plate vs my opponent. You can steal with anybody on him and if you pitch a lot in the dirt your in trouble. I even seen him drop a slider running away, was like his arm could not stretch that far lol
-
If you don't try to really bury pitches in the dirt he's okay. My only issue was he's slow to the ball sometimes whether it's a tapper in front or dirt ball. As a secondary penalty they don't always get the good animations.

Speaking 9th inning bosses, how is Honus at 2nd? I remember last year's Honus card had silver fielding (the shield) at second base.

I disagree, they actually made it matter this year. Purge is a brick wall.

Dude. Don't worry about balls in the past. You gotta be present. Live in the now, man.
I think you should watch "Eat Pray Love" so you can learn to let go of the past and and start to live a more mindful life.

LMAO, just awesome

He was a slight issue defensively but you can probably live with it for the bat. I sold him because I was impatient and hadn't finished Trout yet and the proceeds from his sale were enough for me to get Trout.
