Issue w/ New Pace of Play Rule

9th inning. Larry Walker pinch hit for Josh Hader in the bottom of the 8th.
I hit the wrong button and exit out of the automatic suggestion to change pitchers due to there being a position player on the mound.
Walker is forced to face three batters before being replaced. Fortunately he goes 1-2-3, but that's beside the point.
If no pitches have been thrown, we should still be able to bring in an actual pitcher.

As it used to be. The good old days.
The transition from pinch hit to bullpen was tampered with in 18 I think and it was never fixed. If it was deliberate we were never told why as far as I’m aware, and if it was accidental all the bug reports have been ignored.

It's happened to me as well when I choked or was robbed on the winning run. Just keep pressing X thinking your putting in the pitcher but your keeping you pinch hitter in the game.

It happened to me during the Mo moment on Extreme. Bryce Harper didn't do to bad at all. He struck out 1 and has a nasty change up to boot...lol
