It has been Fall for 29 days...
-
This is really starting to get quite ridiculous.
When does Fall begin in San Diego?
The World Series starts tonight, yet somehow we're still not in the Fall stage for Team Affinity?
-
Fall stage for TA starts after the World Series because it will be Finest players.

Yep. Almost can guarantee it is the next thing that pops up on the schedule after the 10th inning
-
I believe this is Autumn
-
They have a postseason program so I see no reason that has anything to do with TA4. Aren't Finest based on regular season stats and PS based on postseason stats?
-
Fall last 3 months you know? They arent gonna release that content while releasing PS content. Makes no sense. Then what? They will finish PS stuff then get to it. One thing at a time man. Cant have it all at once then nothing.

That's ridiculous, if true, especially considering that a lot of players will transition to other sports titles like Madden, NHL2k21, and PGA Tour 2k21 once the baseball season ends.
-
The only difficulty will be if these are prestigable players. It’s already much harder to find consistent games, and then to hope they aren’t top level players too.

As soon as July hits every single year people say this. People who are going to move to other games are going to do so anyways. “If SDS doesn’t do X by Y then every player is going to go play other games” is one of the most tired tropes I’ve seen on these forums.

I'm sick of it as well. Kind of why I rather be on twitter/reddit, this forum can get super annoying.

I wasn't mentioning it in the sad attempt at a veiled threat of refusing to play such as is seen far too often on this forum and others.
It's simply a matter of pragmatism. I realize that it's of no particular concern to SDS what EA and 2K are doing, but making the final 25% of content available after all player updates are finished seems absurd to me. In this case especially, as Diamond Dynasty is intrinsically linked with how players perform during the season.
Further, I get that there is value in adding content and achievements after the season ends, encouraging continued play during the off-season. However, I don't think that finishing up the last 25% of Team Affinity should be put in that particular spot.

If your theory is that players are likely to bail after the season ends, wouldn't it make sense to make your biggest content drop right as the season ends in order to entice the transitioners to stick around for a little more?

Nice strawman, by the way. You argued against a point which I did not make.

The 10th Inning stuff (and more, no doubt) will be wonderful to play, I'm sure.

So true. This forum is run by the same 4-5 guys who play salty cracker with eachother. Reddit is superior.

I would much rather be on reddit than twitter. Twitter is full of children that have been begging for 99 Betts nonstop for the last 3 months

Fall in San Diego is the period from mid November to the end of December when it’s too cold to wear just a t-shirt but to also to hot to wear a hoodie. That timing to
Release team affinity 4 would be perfect for me. Im planning to play the show year round now and frankly I’m going to need all the incentives I can get to keep grinding in January and February when I usually am playing 2k for a couple of months. If they had already released t4 I’d be done already when I was grinding extreme and monthly awards and such and I would be stuck with nothing to grind towards in the off-season -

You were implying it, don’t try to be cute. When you say “that’s ridiculous, considering people are moving to other games” the implication is that they need to put out content to keep people playing MLB.

I assume they are waiting to see who the award winners are so there is no over lap.
