Well I assume it's Mantle. I just disagree. They're 1 and 2 without question, personal preference likely dictates who gets 1

Mantle is a switch hitter, Trout is probably a tad better overall but the switch hitting factor for me makes it a wash. They're both outstanding.

There aren't many cards that just seem to be universally feared in this year's game, but I'd say the 99 Trout is definitely one of them.
IMO, it's between the 99 Trout, Mickey Mantle, and FOTF Jim Thome for the best overall hitter in the game.

I'm hitting over .400 with him and I think I have over 250 at-bats.

Thanks for the info, good to know. I don't think I've ever used a Trout card, so I was curious how he played. I guess in a way Trout was my 9th inning boss, so that should be alright.
Got to give him at bats though.for like his first 20 at bats for me was horrific but after that I started getting his swing down an being patient. when you get ahold of one with trout it's usually gone or xbh
