I agree however... Wouldn't it be great though if there was another really great switch hitting 3rd baseman who was just released and pretty easy to get...

No doubt, which is why they should remove the cap for diamonds. Someone wants to pay 4 million stubs for Chipper, so be it.

O well, I'll always have the 94 Chipper who still rakes and seeing that it we are halfway through October it doesn't hurt as much as if he was dropped in May/June.

I’m just teasing you over semantics Lol I hear ya though. Just based off witnessing some instant outrage all over twitch and Twitter, it’s a little about the cost for casual fans.
For hardcore folks that have the stubs, they’re pissed because it could be a LONG time before they see there buy order go through.

I don’t have a problem with it because it won’t be that significant of a difference from prestige chipper. Only contact and power vs righties will be any different. Some of you can’t get over the fact that the Chipper available isn’t a 99 though. 96 Chipper is still very usable

That's cool, just poking fun. Ram and Mondesi are both pretty gross though... I mean, if Baez didn't have a special 99 card I bet he would kick himself off his team for the Ram.

Yea i feel you man. Madden is notorious for this. Happens almost weekly. At least we have caps here. Some cards in madden last year were going for 10mil

Well if you compare the 91 Alomar to the 99 Alomar, or the 92 Piazza to the 99 Piazza or LS Chris Sale to SS Chris Sale, you might see why people don’t particularly want to take the lesser versions online.
