My first year playing DD and like many I can’t hit water if I fell out of a boat. My batting avg is .194 😢. Then I seen my ERA for online was 1.34. Kind of made me not feel to bad lol. I’ve only played about 60 games online so small sample size but is that a good ERA or average at best? Just curious

This is my first year playing as well. From what I’ve heard others say and it seems to make sense is that the top players have higher ERA’s because they are more often than not playing other top players in higher ranked games.

So even though playing on All-Star can sometimes seem like HR derby, if you’re playing weaker competition than you probably play a lot of people who aren’t great hitters if that makes sense.

This is coming from a player who plays a high percentage of his games on All-Star because of my own inconsistent hitting.

[censored] I want that batting Avg. I pitched as far up as college ball. Always enjoyed the mental battle of pitching. And I’m doing that with some low tier guys I’m slowing building a nice rotation and trying a few guys out here and there. I sold off a few high offensive diamond cards for pitching. Figured I can’t hit so those cards do me no good. Invest in pitching lol

I think it depends on the level of competition, a WS player will likely have a higher ERA because of the competition.

I'm a lower end WS player and I think anyone around my level with a 4 ERA is good. I'm not a great hitter compared to a lot of people who around my ranking, but I can pitch and take walks. .288 average (.352 OBP) and a 3.87 ERA

Yea I could see that for higher end players. I’m at 600-700. Solid era is still solid era

I’m at 298 batting avg and 410 era. I go back and forth between championship and World Series.

Dude, @lazy_toast has 4.02 ERA lifetime RS, 5.06 ERA BR.

3.30 ERA RS this season currently with 578 ranking; 397 Best Season, 397 Previous Season

    ERA vs. CPU 2.08 LMAO.

How did you not pick up on this guy's false misleading information? LOL.

    Step by Step Directions:

Go to DD, click on 'Standings Stats & History,' click on 'Standings,' click on 'Lifetime.' click on 'square' enter username under 'Name Entry' click R2 for done. Shows online RS stats lifetime, click R1, shows BR stats if any, click R1 again, shows CPU stats.

You can back out and repeat same steps, except click on 'Season,' instead of 'Lifetime' and you can pull up your current season stats. It will also display your Best Season and Previous Season ranking.

Sorry, but your claim of 1.34 ERA is not even close to any of your online stats. The only thing its close to is offline against CPU, but still exaggerated with 2.09 ERA. Your BA seems to be accurate as you claim, but not sure how or where you're pulling false 1.34 ERA claim from.

Yea all I did was look at my universal profile from the dashboard on this website. It says my 2020 online totals so that’s what I was basing it on.

yeah, that's not accurate information for whatever reason.

It shows "Zero's" across the board for 2019 & 2018 when you look up my Universal Profile which is not accurate either as I've been playing for past 6 years. And shows 0.87 ERA for me for 2020 online stats...inaccuarte.

Yeah that has been messed up since 2018. 3 years now and they cannot fix it. For some reason it divides it by 3 I believe. Same with K per 9 as well. Also wrong.
