A's bullpen

Aside from Hendriks finally going diamond, the top pen in baseball has been getting no love. Pitching attributes have been mostly static even though SDS has been aggressively updating player stats on a weekly basis
-
I mean to be fair that's not an A's thing, that's a bullpen thing in general. Kenley Jansen got no love (He has fallen off now, but he was insane for awhile). Only a couple guys like Liam Hendricks or Devin Williams got love

I mean to be honest as an A’s fan you should just be happy he’s still on your team, usually once an A’s player provides value he’s gone so enjoy while you can...
But yes SDS gives no love to relievers, but this has been a bad year for the roster update team. Way to many inconsistent upgrades and giving way to much value to guys in certain uniforms.

That's the typical misconception, but they actually don't trade valuable players in the middle of a competitive window (Cespedes for Lester aside). Plus A's brass is now allegedly committing to retaining talent, though I still don't fully trust them while that piece of [censored] John Fisher is still majority owner

Braves Pen is better

It does take two to tango if you will though and while a guy like Semien who Vasgerjian continues to remind me is a berkley area native guys have to want to play there and honestly playing in that literal [redacted] stadium with plumbing issues isn't very enticing. Sure they are expected to get a new stadium but can they afford building it+buying out the city+payroll

Fisher is the 8th richest owner in baseball and they've repeatedly said that the new stadium will be privately financed. They already purchased Alameda county's half of the coliseum last year and negotiated with the city of Oakland to buy their half
