Strike Out 10 batters and don't give up a home run.

This has to be the most asinine mission I’ve ever seen.
It is short of impossible to compoete unless you actually have good RNG luck.
I score 8 to 10 runs in the mission, no problem. I get the K’s by the 6th inning but even those are hard with the size the PCI the CPU gets. I get a [censored] [censored] homerun in the 8th or the 9th on a pitch that was perfect release but “drifts” right into the middle of the [censored] zone. A low and inside sinker does not magically become a center cut [censored] meatball when your release is perfect on the top and bottom.
This has to be the worst mission design ever. You are literally at the mercy of the RNG so your skill matters little.
At least add an extra homerun after the 5th inning to at least to alleviate the absolute dumpster fire that is the RNG in this game. You’ve already made the Yelich and Gehrig missions as much luck based as skilled base, these other ones don’t deserve to be like that. You’ve modified the sliders in those first 2 missions so that the pitcher throws more balls, to the point where on a 3 and 0 count he will throw a slider inside and hit you (since you most likely put that slider all the way to the left), so why, for the love of all that is [censored] holy, must you also make a mission where the RNG is the final determining factor?
Am I bitter right now? You bet your [censored] asses I am bitter. I’ve lost this 3 times in the 8th or 9th inning, and I have nothing to show for it except pure frustration.
Extreme is supposed to be about a challenge, about needing to take your skill to the next level, not rolling a [censored] d20 and hoping you make your saving throw.
I’d apologize about the profanity, but I’m too pissed off right now to give a damned.
-
Extreme beat you. Ita okay.
-
Well I gave up a HR on my first try and I knew it the moment I let go the pitch. I hung it and was my fault. Completed it on 2nd try. I’m not bad at all. Pitch on the black at bottom of zone
-
I just finished this moment and had a lot of luck with Greg Maddux. Basically just spammed sinkers on the inside black and got a few Ks with changeups below the zone. Good luck!

I sold my Maddux May use Kluber or Hal.

I pitched with Kershaw and completed it the very first try. Pitch low on the corners all game.

I usually use this sequence against the cpu: 4SFB high and in twice and then Slider low and away. They strike out most of the time. Also, watch the AI PCI placement and timing on every swing they miss or foul and adjust to it
-
3 more tries, 3 more fails in the 8th inning from a pitch that should not have been anywhere NEAR the middle of the plate.
I would not mind if I was the one that messed up , but a low and away fastball that ends up in the middle of the plate on a perfect release.....I just can't take it anymore.

I agree I hate the rng of playing the computer, despise it. Basically the computer always knows what you are throwing and where and then it’s just a pony show after that if they decide to crush it or not based on what they feel is an acceptable pitch sequence. And this year the computer throws 90% balls, and walks you more that it dosent so these multi hit moments are just pure random luck of what kind of pitches you get. That’s why I’m doing conquest and showdown only. Have babe screw Lou

It took me the second try to finish it. I used Paxton and then the regular guns in the bullpen. As long as you don't groove anything, It's not as difficult. The Yelich mission has a been a pain in my [censored] though.

"Perfect release"

Failed twice in the ninth inning. Took a near perfect game with Kluber. Like the guy above said spot sinkers on the inside corner and mix in fastballs slurves and changes.. You should be good
-
All you have to do is...before each pitch press R2 and the catcher will tell you what pitch and what location, pitch it there. I did it first try with 20 strikeouts.

Use Giolito or Mills.

I think some people need to remember that these moments are not meant to be completed easily on the first try by everyone. That’s kind of the whole point. If you’re getting frustrated after one or two tries these moments just might not be for you.
Now I’m not saying that then can’t be done quickly but for the average or below average player you’re going to have to have a lot of patience. You’ll get there

Use the highest K/9 guy you have, I used Bieber bc he had 110. 4 seems high and tight, sliders low and away on rotation. As soon as he hits the yellow, take him out the very next pitch and replace him with other high k/9 guy. Finished first try
-
I used prestige Kershaw and cruised thru 7 only giving up 3 hits. Than went Gagne, Chapman, Rivera to finish it off.
Think I had 17 Ks and somehow basked out 19 hits Just hit the corners or just off and change it up.
