99 Scherzer
-
Anyone try him in higher levels in RS? Looking for some reviews and if he’s worth the 140k price tag
Thanks

Has pretty good control. I’ve thrown a lot of dots with him but as always, a few are bound to hang and get hit out. His pitches move a lot and has a good selection. Doesn’t have a sinker which hurts a little, but overall he’s a pretty good starter who’s good to give you at least 5-6

One of the easiest to control I have used, and has tons of movement. Love his cutter

Oh he has a sinker they just call it a 2 seamer but it definitely sinks if you watch it.

I just just faced him. But it was on allstar. He's a little better than smoltz

Not a real ringing endorsement

I had 13 K’s through 6 innings with him in my last game with him on HOF, but still somehow lost the game because VIdeo game reasons

Scherzer has been my best option 6 games on Hof with 30 k and 5 walks with a 3 era

If you are good at pitching then you’ll be well off with him. He can go a strong 7 innings with at least a strikeout of two per inning if you know what your doing.

Wasted 30K stubs and never got the SOB. He can drop dead for all I care at this point.

Had him, got lit up with him, sold him for Kershaw. Don't regret it at all. Kershaw has been for me.

Good lateral movement. Of course if you get one over the middle it is going a long way, but definitely one of the more usable 'non-sinker' pitcher.
