Face of franchise???

I find it interesting that a few of the names for face of the franchise are clearly not the face of the franchise in reality. Jay Buhner of the Mariners??? Really??? There are at least four other names that rank well ahead of him.
- Griffey jr. (it will always be his team)
- Ichiro Suzuki
- Edgar Martinez
- Felix Hernandez
Are any of your team’s fof disappointing you?

I mean it's just a card series name, SDS isn't saying that Jay Buhner is THE Mariner, they just weren't going to make 99 Griffey Jr acquired that way, Felix was already a boss and they don't have Ichiro's rights. Edgar would have made sense though.
It's just like the Cardinals, Lou Brock is definitely a key member of Cardinal greats and a hall of famer, but there are guys you could put ahead of him like Pujols, but I didn't expect them to make 99 Pujols acquired that way.

But I guess they don’t have the rights to Pedro, Manny, Yaz or even Nomar and Ted and Papi have cards already.
Should’ve been Xander over Devers though for sure.

Edgar was a WS or BR reward early on that was a 90 overall. I hope they come out with a better one, but not counting on it.

I think overall the jay buhner card is better than the hrd griffey which makes no sense
