I only did this once when Felix Hernandez inning was released an needed stubs real bad an wanted to get him quick as possible to sell for 200k before everyone got him an his price dropped what I did was play now with 2 controllers make your main name play as away take control of home team an just intentionally walk batters for 1000 runs.get the 3 outs to end half inning an quit game...back at main menu close application then restart game so the xp saves go into dd an click on xp path to lock in xp u get like 32k xp plus stars doing it that way...it's boring so I watched Netflix while doing this hence why I only did it once..but u can do it all the time if you really want to.

It's not the first time I or anyone else said this and hasn't been patched an Felix came out in 5th inning...so I doubt they do something about it now this late in game...either way doesn't matter to me I got everything I need

Why do you have to close the game in the main menu for it to register? Just wondering.

depending on how good you are, hitting next tier's on RS give you a nice bump in XP. Me, im not good and play alot offline, so Ive acquired my XP from alot of franchise mode, finishing collections and doing moments, showdowns and conquests.

Why do you have to close the game in the main menu for it to register? Just wondering.
Because sometimes the xp disappears an doesn't register for whatever reason...it's just a safeguard to make sure that doesn't happen an have to do it over again....once I realized I had to close app an restart I never lost my xp again...hope that helps...I know it's a cheap way of doing things but once you get to a point where you literally have every mission and collection done but still need XP or Stars that's the best way for someone to do it in my opinion

Yeah I know. Playing HR Derby gave 25 XP every home run and it was like that since 2012 that I can remember and yet they took that away this year. I know what you are talking about because my son does that. I tried it once and it was so boring I couldn't do it anymore lol.

Ya I was doing hr derby at beginning of year...I didn't even know what the retro xp thing was til they patched it an when I looked it up to see what it was I saw a new video showing the 2 controllers method..it was great for that moment when I got Felix and sold for 200k but my god it was mind numbing lol...so I scrapped that an just played normal.now I sit at 5 mil in stubs with tons of stuff to sell an level 36 red prestige...I thought about doing it again to get the high diamond pack but then market crashed an as of now I can't get anymore stubs because I'm holding the max so it's kinda pointless lol

try HR Derby Offline.... they changed the amount of XP per HR hit from +25XP down to +8XP ,, but if you load up all 8 spots with great HR beasts it can still be a good way to earn XP easy peasy.... (for example: I've avg. around 28 to 30 HR each AB with Ted Williams .... +8XP for each HR isn't too shabby, especially hitting 25-30 every AB)
