    how the heck can these cards be better than player of the WHOLE month cards!?!? That doesn't make sense to me

    Understand your small gripe, but none of the Topps Now or the other POTM cards are meant to be cards you use a lot or at all. They're essentially meant to be exchanges for stubs, XP and the path to Tatis Jr.

    Lewis's card is based on him hitting .307/.399/.497 in July/August. Hence the 92
    Duval's card is based on him hitting .750/.750/3.000 in that one game. Hence the 98

    Yes it’s true.......some of these cards are better than all time greats.......which is strange. But, if you remember, the emphasis this year was on the modern day players. Players of the 90’s, 2000’s and they wanted Topps Now cards to be able to compete.
