No way you need all of them. One would think by now that trying to guess what SDS will do is likely to be disappointed. Enjoying trying to sell all those when they free fall after they announce that.

Yeah i think that's base per person but i fully see the logic. I have hit on a bunch of investments and I am not a good player but i can do "OK" but i cant hit for a lick with many SS's in the game. but again luckily enough i got in really early and cheap. Ill lock him in but with my investments i am not locking in a bunch of my stubs. I am leaving some on the table for sure, but in the grand picture its not that much really if u think about it.

I dont think you will need all but i think a good portion you would need. But if you think about it; it would be a cheaper way to get Trout than buying some SS guys or any of the others.

I wish they'd stick to the formula we've had all year, a program we progress through doing moments and missions to earn it rather than buying it.

I assume there will be the option to earn the POTM. Buying the Topps cards will probably just be a shortcut.

I think it’s hilarious how this whole thing has started about collecting cards and what not. SDS has given no indication of how the August POTM program will actually work. You all could be completely wrong.

Since people seem to think not all the cards will be needed, what does everyone think the reward for all of them is going to be? It's a BiaH bundle for FotF, and HR derby cards.
I've said before that the reward they give for collecting all of them (other collections) is extremely weak for the amount of stubs that players lock them in for.
I'm guessing it's another BiaH bundle.

I don’t think so. We got half of them for free already. And maybe they give out a few more in the next conquest. But it’s going to be locked behind a collection, for sure. Just a matter of how easy they make it on us.

That would really suck. I have 21 and still have to do the Topps Now moments from last week to do so I should be okay. I honestly just enjoy grinding the missions.

Based off the information we have, my guess is we need 28. Plus the 7 monthly and those will be like the July and august programs, only a collection will be required to finish the program for the lightning, like for the Blake Snell Program.
Pure speculation though. Nobody knows what they’ll really do and I could be so far off, it’s not even funny.

I started unloading them. I made almost 600k!
Personally I would rather have 600k for Teddy ball game and Rickey than 1 Tatis -

if you want the lightning card i'd say get these topps now cards before tomorrow, they're already starting o rise about 70% of what their value was yesterday and in some cased (Travis Shaw and d'Arnaud) are at about 107% increase compared to same time yesterday. Can only see them rising
Or you can just do the missions and get them for free...

Just spent over 100k getting like 6 topps cards I was missing just to be safe. I should’ve known better but hopefully can sell back if we don’t need the whole collection

I'd rather have 400k+ stubs to do what I want with along with my ss cap then Tatis.
Another way of looking at it is that they gave you 13. If it takes another 12 TN cards and you bought them for 10k each a little while back, then you've invested 120k. If you waited till now, you're most likely over 200k. I feel like I would still rather have the 400k+ stubs then spending 120k for this lightning card.
I guess you get a lot of xp and stubs back but still.
After typing all this, I feel like I'm going to regret selling the cards because there's no way you're going to have to spend all this money for something that isn't a top 10 card.
