"x and I Quit" Team Name

When you play against someone with this type of name in Events, do you participate in this stuff or just play them straight up like usual?
Personally, I am not a fan of the Prestige aspect they added this year.
-
I participate under one condition. They don't message me. If your team name is XBH with name yeah cool I'll help you, but if you send me a copy/pasted message asking for assistance, hah, nah. Funny is a lot of players have quit regardless if I help them or not.
-
I learned in 18 to turn my messages off. Played someone online, and they called me every name in the book.
-
I usually do it. It's an easy win and I haven't been burnt by anyone that didn't follow through with quitting.
-
Yep, I was cool with it too, until I got burnt yesterday. It's crazy how someone could even do that....which ultimately hurts the majority who would honor their request. SMH
-
Turned messages off as well - SO much better.
-
I usually just play straight up and laugh at the angry messages they spam me with as they quit.
-
I play straight up. I have earned all my prestige guys , I use events to try and collect those stats and can earn the wins myself.
Messages have been off for a long time, I’m sure people hate it, but I want to play the games, not throw to two batters and than have to do it all over again.
-
I normally help out to get that easy win. Sometimes don’t feel to grind the 3 inning matchup. It helps me to get wins way faster
-
Ive done it only a couple times but only for the inning stars missions. I load my team with commons so my opponent knows i have no intention of winning. I never msg anyone, 2/3 people will help out usually. I hate wasting my time and not playing to win but sometimes the online missions with guys are just so painful especially if its with someone who would never be in my lineup otherwise.
-
If they ask I will say I will try but I use meter pitching so I will usually give them a fast ball down the middle with a flame thrower
-
I never participate for a variety of reasons.
-
I had been but after seeing a guy get a 30 day ban on here the other day I think I'm done with this.
-
The online only prestige idea was just poorly thought out by SDS. All they had to do for offline was include say a 400 plate appearance requirement (or double innings pitched) and it would have been fine and prevented all the bad game play.

Those are the fun conversations. Ngl, I get great entertainment from other peoples displeasure online.
-
I try to beat them. And I’ll even walk the batters they are asking for hits for.
They usually quit anyway.
-
I leave my messages on, and while I have had a few idiots for the most part I've had some good conversations. Not everyone is a dbag, his last event for example I had my 80 wins a long time ago so I've been messaging people telling them I dont need the wins I'll quit for them as I'm just grinding prestige guys. Helped a few people on their way to getting Mad [censored] or other free stuff, helped a few people get the Hunter mission done.
-
I had one recently "Bunt until 6th inning and I'll quit" So I complied and he quit in top 7th
Not sure what it accomplishes for them but a win is a win

Probably wanted innings for his pitchers
