Cobb, Pudge, or Kershaw?
-
Kershaw for me. Need a dominant lefty. Hal just ain't it.
-
I have Mantle and Trout already and have been rotating between E Davis and POTM Bellinger. Was thinking of buying Walker at some point, but the stats on Cobb are just insane.
His swing is already very fast and with that kind of contact and power hes gonna be one of the best players you can use in HOF in my opinion. Sure I wish his defense was a bit better, but he already has high fielding and over 70 arm strength. His ability to bunt is big too. If your opponent decides to come play bunt defense, you can easily crush the ball over their heads in the infield and get gappers.
-
When I get to 300, I'll buy the cheapest two and select the most expensive one!

Ty Cobb is the card I’ve looked forward to the most this year. Very excited!!
I've really started to enjoy playing with his low diamond the last couple weeks while grinding Tiger Innings. He just hits it where they ain't! And i've reached safely on every drag bunt i've attempted with him. (VS. CPU Only, no bunt cheesing. LOL)
He hits home runs too somehow. Haha. This card is probably going to be really good.

The only problem I have with cobb is who to bench between 99 trout, prestige mantle, and prestige walker because that card looks so pretty
Same dilemma. Walker becomes a becomes a bench bat. Mantle and Trout outhit everyone on my team. Walker is great too though.
I need a true lead off hitter though. This Cobb also made it to where I won’t entertain that Ted Williams card. Which is nice. Love Ted, but don’t love that glove.
-
Kershaw easy. No room for Cobb in the outfield and Pudge was garbage last year don’t see how it would change this year
-
Kershaw. Best pitcher in the game last year and probably this year.
CAP at cathcer. I look forward to striking out Pudge when he check swings.
Trout/Mantle/Walker is not changing until Griffey Jr.
-
Cobb and for me it’s not even close.
-
I'll probably choose Cobb. I love how his cards play. He'll be a card I use occasionally, at-best, though. OF is stacked.
-
After looking again, Cobb is going to replace Walker.
-
I have been rolling with Yordon in Left, Springer in Center, and Walker in RF. Yordon looks like the easy one to take out except he has 35 HR in 200 at bats so far, so I don't know what I'll do. May have to bench Springer

Can’t believe they gave Cobb 90 power. He did lead the league in HRs one year though and could hit for power when he wanted to.
Cheers SDS! If you guys read this, this was big for me. From a huge Tigers fan and a longtime Show player. Thank you.
Cobb is going to be a tough card to get out. Looking forward to seeing him lead off the rest of the year.

Same!!! Can't wait to get him. Question, if I do OFFline stuff only, will I be able to get to 300 stars before end of the program?

I’m not sure man. The timer says 28 days. So this one, you really do have a decent amount of time.
Just start grinding.
-
Pudge suck tbh but Cobb prestiged and Kershaw are end game. 2nd best program I think, would be the best if it was anyone but pudge as that 3rd boss
-
Keyshawn is going to be a bp batter. Speed is the meta this year, he’ll Orel throws harder then him.

All 3 seem like beasts.
People love to hate Cobb's arm, which is valid, but max contact & speed is hard to ignore.
Who are you taking??
Got both 99 Cobb and 99 Kershaw. 99 Biggio is doing a great job behind the plate and with the bat. Using 99 Cobbs at lead off with that contact, power and speed.

My worry about Kershaw is no real speed pitch, but will still give him a try.

I run the typical Mantle, Trout & Walker OF. Was going to start giving Lou Brock spot-starts, now I’ll still do that, but then take Cobb and let him play left while I flip a coin to see who starts between the Big 3. Cobb SHOULD hold his value, so I can give him a good long look and see if he’s right for the squad.

That's how I'm looking at it with Kershaw if he works great if not will sell on the market. I don't have to lock any cards into collections so I now have 7-8 nice priced cards 80K-220K that I can sell if they don't work out and if I need stubs. Cobb will be my end game leadoff hitter.
