    Is it worth it?
I have every player. Ready to be locked in and get Mantle.

I’m sure Mantle and Sheffield can really hit. But what about Biggio? I don’t see many people using him that have Mantle. I love Biggios secondary positions tho.

My main issue with this collection is, you have to spend nearly 1 million stubs for two players with gold defense. Meanwhile a bunch of the cards I had to get for them have diamond defense. I know you can prestige them to diamond defense but, I’m not to good and I may never prestige them. The reason is spent ALL my Stubbs for these players is so I may still have the chance to prestige him.
The LS collection prestige is SO much.

I’m also building a nice all Yankee team this year as it is a good year for Yankees.

So it it worth locking in about 800mil for this?

Of the three, Biggio is my favorite. His ability to play C as a secondary position and his speed keeps him in my lineup...

Just get Babe, hes free, and spend the stubs else where on upgrades. I had enough stubs to finish Trout or Mantle and chose Trout

Mantle helps you get Trout. It's not really an either or situation, you can use both.

To answer your question OP I still use Biggio as my catcher, Sheffs off the bench. I have all 3 prestiged.

I love all the rewards and have no regrets about doing the collection back in May.

It is an unpopular opinion, but if I were you I’m not sure I would bother doing it this late. There are and will be plenty of other options available for much cheaper.

Mantle and Biggio start for me. Sheffield rides the bench cause of his crappy swing and defense.

I like Biggio, Sheffield is barely hanging on a bench job & mantle is awesome, so is trout for that matter.

Mantle is a lock for pretty much everyone. I'm still using Sheffield as well.

Sheffields issue is his defense. There are so many OF options that he becomes expendable there. Depending on who your 3B is, you might have better options than him.

Biggio is the most expendable. There have been a few really good 2B available (HRD Cano, Hornsby) that make him less useful and I use a CAP at catcher so his secondary position isnt that big of a boon (except for events). They also just released awards Piazza too which will further lessen his value.

I dont even have Biggio on the bench right now. Awards Cruz and Frank Thomas are my righty bench bats...plus prestige Chipper hits better from the right side. Other 2 spots go to lefties.

Go for the live series collection. Mantle is and will probably always remain the best card in the game. Him being a switch hitter with all of his attributes is tough to beat. Biggio is a great utility guy and Sheffield is good. The nice thing is completing the live series collection will get you a nice chunk of players to use toward trout, plus they are all no sell so it will save you some stubs that way. When 99 Griffey comes out I think I’ll end up platooning trout and walker, mainly based on who I am more comfortable swinging with at the time, but mantle is never gonna leave the lineup.

Then you spent waaaay more than I did for Trout. I made $450k on Trouts release day.

Cool man. I spent about 400k. If that’s to much oh well I have him now and started the game 2 months ago

Yeah I have kept Biggio in the lineup for a bit and I still like him at Catcher. If you can make stubs quick and fast I’d lock it in but if you don’t play the game much and don’t grind for stubs then it’s ur call

All 3 are incredible. What else are you going to do?

Get mantle, then work towards Trout. Then you've beat the game.
