Tomas Nido challenges.

More rigged than anything in the game. Been trying to beat this one challenge for days and still am. Been power swinging and reg swinging and nothing ever works. Pitchers dot the inside corner for every pitch. Anything I power swing on just has the OF moving in to field it. One time I hit the HR first AB then was hit the next AB. Obviously I lost. I’m gonna keep playing this challenge for the next hour so I can beat it and get the cards I already have.

I rarely use this method, but I had to for Nido. I feel your pain. Once I switched,( im normally a zone hitter) it took about 4-5 attempts to get swing timing and reading ball from change. Then i think it took me another 3-4 attempts and I completed it. I think the only other time I went to directional was during the pudge challenges.

yea he was the worst one to do by a mile. Made me steer clear of picking him after lol

I was able to beat it on zone about 40 minutes after the OP lol. Just the most frustrating thing I’ve ever done in this game and we get back at it for the next topps challenges

I’m a pretty mediocre hitter and i got this on my third try. Guy hits missiles to left, guess fastball and let her rip

It’s not rigged the card is just trash like the majority of topps now cards.

I can’t seem to hit 2 home runs in the Vlad Jr affinity 1 moments. I hate this one. I am obsessed with passing it. Would you recommend directional hitting?

If you need to pass it, sure. Are you power swinging? That helps too

Still doing this stupid moment. Tomas Nido is the worst baseball player I have ever seen. His stance is trash, his swing is trash, he is slow as dirt. In fact I would be willing to sell him for half of a stub. I hate this card so much.

Did it on my first try, 3 AB. Both my hits were HRs. Maybe was just lucky. Saw everyone complain about this one and was thinking it would suck.

And the pitching dosn't make it any easier, when i was trying to get through it (took me 2 days) Austin Voth was a walk machine.

I passed it a couple of weeks ago from this method. You are a genius. Now I use directional to help me pass the tough ones.
The Nido moment was passed quickly with directional hitting.
