Another pointless thread about a worthless, P.O.S. little kiddie ballpark that helps kids with good reflexes hide the fact that they don't know how to pitch...
Could say the same thing abt guys that don’t know how to hit...
Actually, you can't.
Pitching has as much to do with sequencing and selection.
Take bat, swing bat.
Sorry, but pitching takes TONS more mental effort than swinging.
If I could pitch while you hit, we'd be content creators...
U kidding? Hitting approach is very mental. You’re “good” at pitching cuz u play very low in ranked at mlb stadiums.. not hard at all to pitch in mlb stadiums
Dude. You really are going to go there here on TSN?
I play games wherever the game puts me.
I don't make WS because I can't hit. It has zero to do with my pitching. You know the caliber of people I play custom league with. Stop trying to think I'm gloating about playing ranked in the 400's.
You played in a custom league with me...I suck. Anyways I think Mitch's point was that both you and your opponent will have it easier hitting. I'm not saying I like Shippett I'm just saying it can stay in the game
I wasn't talking about your custom league. We've had a custom league going before SDS created custom leagues. Mitch and I have played before. He's even said it himself that I pitch well.
When he and I play, he gets one inning with 6-8 runs. The rest of the game is equal scoring both ways.

Play wherever the game takes you? LOL. Your last game was a home game at Yankee stadium.. and no I don’t know what custom leagues your in or what your stats are like.. all ik is you act like you’re great at pitching but ur really not. I’m not saying you’re bad at pitching but ur nothing special considering where u play
You do realize that half the time, I am the away team right?
It's a senseless argument. You think my park selection makes me think I can pitch. Talk to me in 30 years when you are playing MLB 2050.

I'm of the exact opposite boat. Don't take out a single stadium. Add MORE stadiums. Give ups more Minor League Stadiums, give us more Spring Training Stadiums(Seriously, we only have two, when he had 4-6 on the PS2), give us more classic stadiums(The fact that we don't have pre 1976 Yankee Stadium, old old Fenway, Tiger Stadium, Comiskey Park, Kingdome, etc is embarrassing), and for the love of all that is holy give us custom MLB level stadiums! All-Star Baseball bad these kinds of stadiums and they were always fun to play with and use for expansion teams. On top of that, It works a lot better for franchises half baked team edit, where you can edit Cleveland to be something that isn't "Indians", but the ballpark still has "INDIANS" splattered everywhere. I know I've wanted "create a stadium" in the game, but giving us premade stadiums with no team affiliation is a far more approachable idea. You can even create some stadiums based on concepts that fell through like San Jose's Cisco Field or the Phillies Stadium that was to be in center city right by city hall.
TL:DR, More stadiums pls, and make some Major League sized generics as well

That was 18 dawg I don’t even remember it lol. I don’t think I was very good at all in 18 so my opinions now vs then are much different. Maybe you are a good pitcher, but you’re not as good as you act like you are because of rating and stadiums. If I played my home games at mlb stadiums I’d have a much lower ERA too and I’m not a good pitcher whatsoever.

Pulse pitchers really flexing this year lmao.

I think the argument against Shippet is more bad swings get rewarded for HR therethan any other stadium. While both players are in the same place, neither has control of the RNG side of things. A few bad swings getting rewarded can destroy pitcher confidence and the wheels come off.
For every decent swing that gets rewarded at Shippett that probably wouldn't have been rewarded elsewhere there are just as many early or late timed swings that are rewarded. Shippet is still the only stadium I've hit a HR in that my contact portion of the PCI wasn't on the ball.
MLB stadiums can be laggy if the connection is poor, Minor leagues stadiums have less going on and aren't as prone to lag. However, there are plenty of Minor league stadiums that are fine to play in. People pick Shippet though because they know it's the most hitter friendly park.
I prefer Oak Street and Barnes Canyon. If you like no fun while hitting and enjoy warning track flyballs check out Bayfront 🤮

yeah, I prefer date palm or Bayfront. But shippett shouldn't be taken out lol

I've wondered (without investigating myself) is the better park for offense, Shippett or Laughing Mountain. What do you all think? I know for the major league stadiums, Coors is the best. I figure Shibe is the best of the classics, yeah?
Actually played someone at laughing mountain and held him hitless till the 5th inning of a event game then he started to lag the system and cheat. I had a ground rule double that some how gave him an out
-
Yeah, I wish there was a way to avoid that park.. it just makes for very long games especially when your opponent insists on replaying even his 390 foot bombs lol
