Why is there no sense of urgency when Fielding in urgent times. The players nonchalant around when they need to hurry and get the ball in, but instead they're lollygagging around taking their sweet time. It's ridiculous. Bases loaded need 1 out to win the guy hits the ball up to the pitcher and bounced off his glove. The guy on 3rd has 7 speed and the pitcher picks the ball up and underhanded it to the catcher and it was too late. These things have been going on for years and yet it still hasn't been fixed. Not to mention, double plays, why are they so slow online?

Tried to pick a guy off at 2nd, he took off to 3rd and instead of immediately throwing to 3rd, my guy put down a tag when nobody was there. Guy walks me off after that. Wtf?

Fielding is the worst I've seen. Playing since 14 and I've never seen the often head scratching stuff I've seen this year. Base running is bad as well. Pitching with the occasional black hole.
    Sad

I have seen it pointed out by a lot people on these forums that SDS don't care about everyone that pays for the base game! They care about dropping new content for the DD crowd, as those are the guys who spend the most money!

It's strange to me. Everyone has to buy the game regardless of if they play DD or not! You would think that they would be at least paying for a minimum viable product.

If they spent 1/10th of the time they spend on new content on game play, this game would be incredible. But unfortunately this is the price of no competition!

I personally think that fixing 3 things would make this game perfect:

    1. Fix fielding (that includes player urgency, ridiculous diving catches by the cpu players with [censored] ratings and the 1 million balls caught while crashing into the outfield fence. Those are supposed to be rare plays that only great defensive players usually make and I swear they happen 3 times per game.

    2. Fix Pitching. SDS need to find a better way to make user input matter more. I can't count how many times I have hit the pitching marker right on and my pitcher still hangs pitches.

    3. Fix hitting consistency! I hit very well in this game so I am not complaining but to be honest it's very inconsistent. Again I can't count how many times I have hit the ball on the mark and its a weak fly ball or on the other hand, how may HR's I have hit when the ball is not even in the PCI marker! Way too inconsistent. Also I find when playing the CPU, it's not very realistic. They take pitches right down the middle and then hit HR's on Change Ups in the dirt! I mean it happens, but it's rare and not the norm.

All of my team’s lollygagging happens in the OF rather than the IF. Get it right, SDS.

My favorite moment is when I throw a ball to first from left or center, and the runner decides to try and advance, only to be out at second by a mile. Which happens way too often

It's a lot easier for SDS to buy rights and make a card than it is to fix their coding...unfortunately.
