Base runners not stopping Event play

Is anyone else having problems with base runners not stopping on the base you are telling them to stop? . seems to happen a lot going to second base on a doable it’s frustrating and is costing me runs in this Event . Any recommendations or tips on how to alleviate or fix this problem is greatly appreciated.

Happens to me often. Especially sucks when you know you got a base stolen but he isn't sliding and will keep running until he gets tagged.

Yeah it’s happening to me when I hit the ball for doable I try to make my guy stop at 2nd base using the analog stick but he keeps going. might be time to try something new I was using default for base running interface gonna try Classic instead .
