99 Larry Walker

For the first 150 at bats with Walker I was absolutely terrible. The game after I put a order in for 99 Vladimir he started raking. Now I have Vlad and can’t take Walker out because his average has jumped up above .350. Anybody else have a similar starting slump with Walker?

No, I think i hit better with Walker than Mantle. But i remember using Giambi in the Baseballs back event and was hitting .150 for a while and was able to take him out of my lineup, and then he started raking big time. So its probably not unusual

Weird I was hitting on .200 with Larry when I first got him sold him cuz Gary trout and mantle were slapping for me , then Gary trout and Gary went into a slump so I bought back walker and he’s been hitting over .350 since I got him this was when he first came out too so it’s been a while if him destroying the baseball my favorite number 2 hitter he does everything you need
