Curious if now that we've fast forwarded to October and Gherig/Ruth have come out, if anyone else starts this man in RS for fun? Am I the only one lol?

I do but as part of a platoon. With so many good lefty 1B, there is no reason to play Frank against a RHP. I have Ruth as my starting LF and Frank at 1B but if its a RHP then I move Babe to 1B and then plug in Harper in the OF. These 3 make a hell of a 2-man platoon as Harper and Frank have strong platoon splits and Ruth is just awesome against anyone (at least for me). Ruth even robbed a 3R-HR in RS last weekend to help me secure a tight win. #beast

This! I have him in a platoon. Basically sub him in at 1B when facing a lefty.

Lol I do the same thing with Frank, Ruth and Harper. I just bought Ted Williams though so we will see what happens

I've noticed when I pinch hit him vs a lefty it's a walk more times than not. Sometimes intentional, sometimes just nothing near the zone.

Babe must have thought the hotdog vender was over there which is why he got there in time to make the play

Small sample size for me because of Babe and Gehrig but I feel like his swing is better than last year and can crush anything.
