We really needed another Smoltz card?

Smoltz is this year’s Cepeda from a few years back when they kept giving him a new card every few weeks.

yea i dont understand why but someone thought it was a good idea. SDS has done a good job with the variety of cards even if some players have multiple. I mean in madden a player can have 5 different cards and only difference is +2 ovr. Like here your upgraded Barry Sanders. He went from a 90 to a 92. that [censored] is annoying AF

I’d be okay with it if there weren’t guys still waiting for their first card like Jimmie Foxx or Warren Spahn, not to mention a few other old timers.

Everyone is waiting on Foxx I think. But yeah, would rather see a K-Rod, (better) Jansen, Brian Wilson (ok not likely but would be amazing to see the beard), (better) Kimbrel or others but I'll take any quality RHP reliever at this point.

This is boring to me. I never cared once about john Smoltz cards. Let alone doubles of them. Opinion.

I assume, not that I will get that card, that you would not be able to have this closer card in your bullpen along with his FotF card in your rotation...?

Four times as many Smoltz cards as Brewers legends on the market. Nice...
Also, Robin Yount won an MVP at both Shortstop and center field. He will never get 2 cards. Braves love is too obvious this year.

How does that make ANY sense....he already has a top rated card.....assuming it's a closer but he was more a starter his career, why not give babe a ss for first base, sandberg one for ss.....so missing the variety of choices.....since you have to choose which smoltz to use

If it's the Smoltz closer version with the Cards bring it on, but 4 Braves Smoltz cards seems excessive, one was already a CP wasn't it?

Lester is likely the player program today. My guess is Jansen will be an inning boss but yeah I would have much rather had kimbrel instead of Smoltz
