Fair, given that he is the best hitter in the game, but my outfield is also the strongest part of my team.

Babe is the best bat in the game (argument can be made for Foxx) and Babe's defense is lightyears ahead of Ted's. Ted is a straight up liability on defense, but is a great bench bat. I sub Arenado in for Chipper late in games, for what it's worth.
Babe or Chipper are both solid choices, but Babe is the better upgrade on both sides of the ball than Chipper would be over Arenado.
-
Babe would be my pick as well. Guy crushes the ball.
-
I held off on Ruth for a while and kept picking and selling him because I figured he was basically a copy of Williams. After I ran out of reasons to sell him I kept one and he has been much better for me than Williams. Although attributes are about the same I think babe is rightfully the best bat in the game. Chipper is great but he doesn’t exactly destroy lefties and there are a lot of options for third.

I went with Chipper. Thanks for the feedback. I was going to go with pitching to be honest but everyone seemed rather against that. Ruth for me was never really an option because I'm hitting .575 with Ted Williams. All of my offensive players have played well so far but unfortunately there isn't really any good pitching options except sutter, and he's only okay. Now I'm going to go try to climb the ranks but I think my bullpen is going to get shelled once I start facing better opponents. Wish me luck!

Sutter is elite, since I've been using him 55 ish appearances era under 2.3
You can't go wrong with Chipper or Babe but Babe is the best hitter in the game and much better in the field than Ted
-
Babe mashes.
-
Chipper best hitter in the game for me (better than Babe and Foxx) but very poor defense.
-
Me personally, I would take Chipper but it would probably be the best move to take Babe.
