Thats NOT where I wanted it

curious to know everyones pitch when u say "thats not where I wanted it" cuz I know [censored] well I'm not the only one that says this lol
For me, its the slider.... crazy to me how often I hit the slider at perfect accuracy and it goes NOWHERE close to where I aimed it
-
I hear ya....whether it’s a slider, change up, or curve, I often know it’s a homer result before the swing happens.....

It’s so funny you say that because that’s exactly what I say. Then I replay their three run homer because why not.
-
I say it a lot in game, but I can tell you not as much as I said, nor MLB pitchers say, in real life.
-
Never throw a curve
-
The announcers tell me that all the time.
-
Cutters down the middle give up more HRs for me than anything.
-
SDS missed the mark completely this year in terms of gameplay pitch accuracy.
It's no secret.
It doesn't matter who you throw it with, what their control attributes are, what pitch you throw, how perfect you locate your mark pre-pitch, and how perfect your release meter is, it feels like pitch accuracy has virtually been non-existant. I mean sure, you might have a game here and there where you feel like pitch control was pretty good, but those can easily be overshadowed for the majority of outings where you experience "forced pitches down the middle of the plate."
The only ones who may disagree with the above-statement are CPU players who play on Rookie or Veteran level (whom I have nothing against), where their "forced pitches down the middle of the plate" won't be felt much, if at all, because their opponent is unlikely to crush it out of the yard that everyone else experiences on other game modes, especially RS. That's facts.

There is really just no fooling anyone with pitching in this game. I also have never played above hall of fame in this game, but I hear pitching is actually decent at legend.

Gotta be the slider, aim low and away, perfect timing, thinking oh i got you now, seeing it go right down the middle and just not even being mad just saying yup thats the show in 2020 summed up
Hahahahah EXACTLY!!!!
-
Fastball. Mainly because Fastball is the only pitch I try to paint with. So it gets sucked into the Meatball Vortex all the time. Everything else never goes where i tell it to, but usually just goes High if I'm trying to go in the Dirt. Or Inside if I'm trying to go away.
-
Does anybody else throw 2 Strikes perfectly then feel like you intentionally need to throw the worst pitch possible just to throw the game off so it won't try and lay your Strikeout Pitch right down the middle?
-
For me, it’s definitely the low change up.
I’ve started the ball so low, it’s off the screen and I’ll hit my marks very well (or almost perfectly) using analog and somehow the pitch will either be just below the zone, or a strike which is a very dangerous pitch
Pitching as a whole this year is bad
-
Cutter. If it's no on the corner it's getting slammed.

I experienced this earlier in the season and still do in BR, but with the higher end cards especially Maddux I do not see this at all. Only time I see this is when I miss my meter and I am ok with that being a random outcome.
-
Slider is easily the one pitch this happen the most on.
Better question is how often do you say "I put that right where I wanted, how did he hit that out"
-
Low changeup.... I cant ignore this pitch, as it can be so good for a swing and miss if it hits the intended spot. I hang this often and against a good hitter... it usually flies out of the park.

Yea, those here and there games are good connection games. Do you think the pitching was like this when testing in their studio? Doubtful. The majority of this games issues are a result of connection problems. Until they address that, you will continue to see the same things. Highly doubt it gets better with cross play. Crossplay on PUBG was/is a desync nightmare. People skipping around, bullets not registering, etc. They have dedicated servers so not sure how this will play peer to peer.

We as a community need to keep speaking up! In MLB there are games where pitching dominates completely. That should be more of a possibility in this game also. If you’re good at analog, pulse, and meter you should be rewarded!
