Big win for sds.

I was hoping they were giving u 48 hours to get him but sadly it seems he'll disappear after 48 hours.
-
Yeah, don't want a tease. But he HAS to be the lightning card for Aug
-
I think it's 48 hours to acquire it if you hadn't done the Padres TA.

I agree with the post above that he'll be the lightning card for August so I doubt they let us keep him. Nobody would buy all the monthly cards if that were the case

I have to give credit when due. Huge win SDS with the fotf Fernando Tatis 99 card. One of the coolest content drops you've ever made. Respect.
What are you guys talking about? 48 hours for what?
Tatis FotF card is boosted to a 99 for the next 48 hours
I don’t play DD or go for cards or anything, but I am curious about this idea - is ‘powering up’ a card for a short time a regular thing? Seems like it would be super easy to implement and use to manipulate the card market.

I love it. Used him tonight in my final Ruth moment and Mike Scott must be big on the unwritten rules... He beaned him in both of his AB's...

I believe this is the first time they have ever done something like this, and it was most likely done because the incident took place with Tatis being at the center of it in San Diego. San Diego Studios (SDS) is giving their guy some back up and cheering him on. Hopefully they do it more but they may not do it for other teams, who knows?

Thanks for responding. In that case I’m sure we will see it more like when a pitcher throws a no hitter or somebody hits for cycle or something. I’m interested to know if it impacts the market in any way and whether that will be used as a money maker.

It will be interesting to see if they do it for any other team, other than San Diego at this point. Plus, this did cause a lot of media attention from other players about the "unwritten rules" in baseball. Definitely high profile incident, and it's awesome that they capitalized on it in this way!
